CYGNUS Founder and President, Scott Borland, has more than 20 years of consulting experience working with start-ups, Fortune 500 firms, foundations and associations in both the United States and Canada. He has also held several senior leadership and executive positions offering significant experience in both operating and advisory roles.
With a particular focus on strategic facilitation and executive feedback, Scott is a recognized expert in helping leaders achieve the clarity, focus and commitment they need to successfully move forward and achieve the results they desire.
Scott’s varied experience – both inside and outside the corporate walls, and at all levels – together with what clients have described as “superb facilitation skills” and “a straightforward, open and honest style,” allow him to have a significant and lasting impact in the organizations with which he works.
He holds the Certified Management Consultant and Certified Human Resource Professional designations, is a qualified executive coach, and an active member of the Human Resources Management Association and the Canadian Association of Management Consultants. Scott has a M.Ed. from the University of British Columbia and a B.Sc. from the University of Toronto.
Susan Pearse brings to her role more than 20 years of experience in various project management positions at one of Canada’s largest telecommunications companies. Her strong customer focus, solid project management skills, and keen attention to detail ensure that every client receives top-quality service that exceeds their expectations.
Susan has primary responsibility for key aspects of our executive feedback practice, including implementation design, customization of materials, assessment distribution and collection, and report generation.
